In December 2019, a new emerging viral disease emerged in China mainland and then became an important public health problem internationally., This viral disease is known as Wuhan novel coronavirus infection. The patient will have a fever and respiratory problem. The disease spread to many countries such as Thailand, China, and India. There is a chance that the disease co-occurs with other common diseases. In clinical hepatology, the important consideration is the association between the new disease and hepatic infection. The co-occurrence between viral hepatitis and novel Wuhan coronavirus infection has already existed., There is already a case of viral hepatitis and novel Wuhan coronavirus infection reported from China., The patient ended up with death. An interesting question is whether there is any interrelationship between viral hepatitis and novel Wuhan coronavirus infection. In fact, pathogenic coronavirus in animal can induce hepatitis. For human infection, the study of the exact liver problem due to the novel Wuhan coronavirus is interesting.
